Vendor status monitoring

Blip24 watches the status pages of the services your product runs on, like AWS, Stripe, GitHub and Twilio, and alerts the right person when one of them has a problem.

Ten monitors free. No card needed.

How Blip24 works

Finds your vendors

Sign up with your work email and Blip24 suggests the vendors your company uses.

Your company's DNS records name many of the services it uses: who sends your email, your CDN, your help desk, your login provider. Blip24 reads them when you sign up and builds your first board, so you don't start from an empty list.

Catches outages early

Vendors often post incidents late.

Blip24 reads each status page itself and starts the clock when it turns red, even before the vendor posts an incident. Every incident records when we saw it and when the vendor announced it, so you can see how quickly each vendor owns up.

A watched vendor is read every 3 minutes, and every minute while something is wrong. 33,535 components and 1,472 incidents are on record so far.

Fewer, better alerts

This one was sent because it's a major outage at a vendor marked business-critical. A small slowdown at the same hour would wait for the morning digest, and every decision is logged, so you can always see why an alert was or wasn't sent.

Is it us or a vendor?

Connect Sentry, Datadog, Grafana or Rollbar.

When your error rate spikes, Blip24 checks whether one of your vendors had an incident at the same time, and tells you plainly if none did. No more opening six status pages to find out.

No vendor incident matches this window.

Your checkout errors at 14:32 do not line up with anything your stack depends on. Start with your own recent changes.

Uptime history for every vendor

Every status change is kept, for every vendor, on every plan including the free one.

It adds up to measured uptime, incident counts and time to resolve, and shows whether a vendor met the SLA it promised you, with any credit you're owed worked out.

Credits are usually paid only when you claim them, with the dates and figures to back the claim up. Blip24 keeps both.

Your price stays the same

Whatever you pay when you subscribe is what you keep paying, for as long as you stay subscribed. If list prices go up, that is for new customers.

It's built into our billing, not just promised: the price a subscription starts on is never edited, and yours is shown on your billing page.
